bumptop是個比傳統windows操作介面更視覺化的3d作業環境，當我們在windows裡安裝了bumptop軟體後，便可讓你的桌面變得更像「真的桌面」，我們可以用滑鼠拖拉、堆疊桌面上的文件、圖檔與各式檔案，也可輕輕一劃把散亂在各處的檔案堆起來、整理好，甚至還可以直接把圖片或便利貼「釘」在牆上，方便我們用更直覺的方式來操作你的電腦。

還在用死板板的桌面嗎？bumptop讓你的桌面動起來！在你安裝bumptop後，桌面會變成一個3d立體介面，所有原本在桌面上的圖示（包括捷徑、檔案）都會以物件方式呈現，使用者可以對這些物件進行拖曳、堆疊等動作，讓靜態的電腦桌面重新活起來！

這是個相當有趣的桌面作業環境，不過看起來反而更適用於日後的觸控桌面與觸控式的all in one電腦，比起目前windows 7比較沒變化的小小視覺特效來說，bumptop讓使用電腦的經驗變得相當有意思，我個人就滿喜歡它用「堆疊」的方式來管理桌面的圖示，當桌面變「立體」之後，似乎更能有效的分類、管理更多東西了！當然，得先讓大家能夠適應這樣的使用習慣才行。
