K-Lite Codec Pack 把許多影音編碼工具、多媒體播放程式打包成一個檔案，包含最新流行的 Xvid/Divx 影片編碼、DVD 的 AC3 音樂編碼工具。

K-Lite 各版本概述：
Standard：最基本的版本，支援多數常見的音訊及視訊。
Full：包含 Standard 之元件外，另支援無損音訊格式，並支援更多的視訊。
Corporate：較適用於企業環境中，近似於 Full 版本，但並不包含某些項目。
Mega：包含了 Full 版之所有元件，另外包含 Real Alternative。(此為 K-Lite Mega Codec Pack)
